Blog for EDU 652

Blogs are efficient tools for sharing thoughts and information. As an educational tool, the blog is perfect for reinforcing class time and introducing links and other points of interest for learners.
Blogging isn't necessarily ranting or gossip. Being an open forum that can include anything the author of the blog has to say, the potential for informing is huge.
Imagine a history professor giving a class, then posting notes on the class, or test tips, or study guides, or links, or any other tidbit that students can use to pass that next test or, if they're interested in history, to learn more about the subject. This can be applied to any subject and can make the difference in any class if the learners use it.
Blogs can include comments for others which can be helpful and get the students involved in their class that much more. This also runs the risk of inappropriate things being posted, but with a little moderating and a modicum if vigilance, it's well worth the price of admission.
